Job Search - Accessing HRDC Job Bank
- Click on this link to open the Job Bank website in another window - keep this page open so you can follow the instructions if you need them. http://www.jobbank.gc.ca
- On the Job Bank webpage, click English - you can choose Francais if you prefer, but these instructions will all be done in English.
- To move the page down click the arrows on the right side bar of the screen
- Click Job Search - found in the menu at the top of the page, or further down under Job Seekers/Workers
- Step 1: To search all jobs, leave Key word search and Job Title boxes empty and move down to Province
- Step 2: Choose Province to be searched. Click arrow in Province box, chose Province by clicking on it - it will be highlighted
- Choose area to be searched. Click arrow in area box, choose area by clicking on it - it will be highlighted
- Step 3: Click on the little box beside Other Options if you want to only see jobs posted in the last 48 hours, otherwise
- Click Search Now
- Review jobs by scrolling down
- To look at a posting in more detail, click the Job Title
- You will then see more specific details regarding this job - eg. Wages, Application process, Job requirements, etc
- To print this posting, click File
- Click Print in the drop-down menu - it will be highlighted
- Click OK in the print box
- To return to full list of jobs scroll down to the bottom and click Previous page or click the Back button in the bar at the top of the page
- To search a different province or area, click Search again at the end of the page
