Welcome to the Upper Skeena Development Centre website
Our Vision and Mandate
We are committed to actively promote and support actions that will create a sustainable economy for the communities of the Upper Skeena. A sustainable economy enables people to have an active and meaningful role in their community. The Centre is a place where community members are welcome to talk to staff about their ideas, browse the reference library, surf the Internet, access business services and contact community organizations.
The Upper Skeena Development Centre is a community non-profit organization that was established in 1998. USDC assists with the development and implementation of initiatives which promote and enhance economic sustainability in the Upper Skeena. We provide access to technology and other resources to sustain social, economic and educational development in our community. USDC networks with other community groups and supports many local organizations and their projects.
